Kenneth M. Denti, a partner at Hoffman Polland & Furman PLLC, practices in all areas of Civil and Criminal litigation, Family Law and Mediation, Corporate Transactions, Trusts and Estates and Commercial and Residential Real Estate. Admitted to practice presently in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he has more that 24 years experience representing a wide variety of individuals, small businesses and large multinational corporations. Previously a partner in several large law firms, Ken brings a unique blend of large firm savvy and smaller client sensitivity to his practice. He presently maintains specialty practices in Divorce law and Mediation, Environmental law, business litigation, land use, corporate transactions, leasing, contracts preparation, insurance defense, corporate compliance and criminal defense, trusts and estates and real estate. Ken has appeared before both State and Federal Courts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as in New York, and has argued cases before The Third Circuit Court of Appeals, The New Jersey Supreme Court, and over 50 cases before The Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. In addition, he has been involved in 20 published opinions.
Also formerly a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, Ken is extensively involved in Bar Association activities, maintaining several leadership roles. He has served as a Director of the Family Law Section of the Burlington County Bar Association, Chairman of that Section's Divorce/Dissolution Committee, Vice-Chairman of the General Equity Committee of the Burlington County Bar Association, served for 14 years as a member of the ISRA Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Corporate Law Section,, and for many years has been a member of the Family Law, Commercial Law and Environmental Law committees of the Camden, New Jersey State and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
Ken is also extensively involved in his community. He presently serves as Deputy Mayor of Columbus, New Jersey, where he is also a member of that town's Planning Board, Environmental Commission and Recreation Committee. He has previously coached youth sports, and volunteers his time for many civic events. He has also taught several courses in paralegal education, and as Deputy Attorney General taught various training courses for Assistant Prosecutors and State Investigators/Detectives.
