Elliot R. Polland is a member of the firm and specializes in litigation related to Health Care Practitioners. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in 1965 and from N.Y.U. Law School in 1968. During his more than 25 years of practice as a litigator, he has represented clients in professional disciplinary proceedings, defended malpractice actions where there was no insurance or inadequate insurance, represented providers in insurance reimbursement matters with both private carriers as well as Medicaid, represented providers in partnership and professional corporation dissolutions, and litigation involving the enforceability of restrictive covenants between professionals. Mr. Polland is admitted to practice in all of the Courts of New York, the Supreme Court of the United States, and the United States District Courts, both Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has authored articles published in the National Law Journal, the CPA Journal and was a guest commentator on the radio. Many of his cases have been reported in the New York Law Journal.
